Club EMAS has undertaken the following in regard to combating climate change:
- July 2008: Production of a poster on energy saving and good housekeeping practices to raise awareness in companies.

- December 2008: Production of a poster on the greenhouse effect, climate change and the corresponding good housekeeping practices to raise awareness in companies.

- July 2009: Publishing of an interview with the former director of the Office for Climate Change in our magazine Revista de Qualitat Ambiental (RQA) about voluntary agreements in companies.

- September 2009: Workshop on environmental declarations by companies and adoption of indicators.
Work session for companies to mark the Barcelona Climate Change Talks 2009, in order to:
- - Make known the status of the talks regarding agreements to reduce emissions and how they affect businesses.
- - Promote the adoption of voluntary agreements to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
- - Publicise the emissions calculation guide.
- - Promote the adoption of voluntary agreements.
