• In May 2006, at the conclusion of the X Anniversary of the Sarajevo relations Barcelona, Joan Clos, the Mayor and the Mayor of Sarajevo, Semih Borovac, agreed to the continuation of relations between the two cities through a training program and technical assistance.
• During January 2007 a delegation from the city of Sarajevo visited Barcelona. This visit was the specific target areas of technical assistance.

• From 16 to 19 April a delegation policy of the city of Sarajevo was a Hall of training in Barcelona.
