Castillejo, Spain's current marathon champion, took first place in this Christmas race for the third time.

1. The Cursa dels Nassos will be held on Saturday December 31st, 2011. The races starts on Selva de Mar Street.
2. The race is open to all participants. The minimum age for participation is 14 years old. However all minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult, who will be responsible for them. Legal guardians must provide a signed authorization when picking up the minor's race number.
3. The distance is 10 km, as certified by the RFEA (Royal Spanish Athletics Federation).
4. The race route will be duly signalled out and marked at each kilometre. There will be a water station at kilometre 5.
5. The race will close an hour and a half after the start time.
6. All participants are required to use a timing chip. For those who do not have their own yellow chip, a single-use chip must be acquired at a cost of 2 Euros, VAT included (see conditions in the Registration section).
7. The cost of registration is 13 €. Once a runner has signed up and paid this quantity it will not be returned if the athletes reason for not participating cannot be attributed to the race organization.
8. Registration will close once the total number of registered runners reaches 10,000.
9. The organization reserves the right to modify the route because of external causes or any other factors beyond its control.
10. The start is designed to take place in tiers in function of the accredited times of participating runners over 10 km. Each group will be identified with a different colour, and only those runners with a race number of the given colour may start with the corresponding group.
11. The start itself will also be staggered, with two starting times. The first will take place at 5:30 and the second approximately 5 minutes later. The real time of each runner will be taken into account in the final classification of each category.
12. The only vehicles permitted to follow the event will be those expressly authorized by the organization. .
13. The race number and the chip must be picked up on the days and times stipulated by the organization.
14. If the race number and runner's bag are not retrieved on the set days, this will mean the loss of the right to official participation with a race number (see the section entitled Attention Runners).
15. The race is included in the Challenge 10K series, for the competition year 2011-2012.
16. It is obligatory to participate in the race with the race number attached in a clearly visible way to the participant's shirt.
17. Participation in the event is the sole responsibility of race participants and participants are responsible for all risk incurred. The organization renounces all responsibility for any damage caused by a participant during the race, whether to themselves or to third parties.
18. All participants explicitly approve of the use of their first and last name, gender and birth date to be published in the list of registered runners, as well as in the final results if they finish the race, according to the established regulation.
19. By registering each participant implicitly accepts these rules and the regulations governing long distance races as established by the Catalan Athletics Federation. The organization is responsible for mediating and making decisions regarding any unforeseen situation that may arise.
