Personalized race time over 10Km

All participants with a yellow chip will be automatically assigned the most recent best time registered in 10 km races in the Challenge 10k series.

Those who do not have such a chip will have to accredit their best personal time at the Runner's Fair during the days it is open. To do this it is necessary to bring a diploma or official classification from a 10 km race (since the 2009-2010 season) including the personal data and the official time. The only races that will be accepted are those on the official calendar of the Catalan Athletics Federation and the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation.

All participants residing outside of Spain can confirm their best time with a certificate or results document from any race officially approved by the federation of the corresponding country.

Chip recycling campaign

This is an important environmental measure, yet it is also to show support for a good cause.

The white chips can be returned at the finish. Each chip returned represents an 80 cent donation to UNICEF.

Collaborators of this organization, known as "chippers", will be responsible for gathering the chips and exchanging them for their cash value.

If in the end you are unable to participate in the race, the chip will be equally valuable to UNICEF. Do not throw it out, but rather bring it in person or send it to the Barcelona Sports Institute (Institut Barcelona Esports, av. de l'Estadi, 40. 08038 Barcelona).
