The Museu Picasso is a reference point in the artistic and cultural life of Barcelona. Located on Carrer Montcada – the main street for Barcelona nobility from the Middle Ages to the 18th century – it occupies five large palaces built in the beautiful centre of the city’s commercial district, near Santa María del Mar Basilica. The palaces have undergone several changes and refurbishments over the years and, more recently, renovations for it to be able to meet the demands of a 21st-century museum.
This singular public space – unique in the city – welcomes business and professional events and ceremonies wishing to enjoy this privileged setting. The Museum also offers the chance to visit the permanent collection housing over 3,800 works by Pablo Picasso on guided tours or combining event organisation with a private visit.
