In the reception services section we can find the district resource guide, the Procedures Guide and the Internal Contact Guide.

Guide: Benvinguts i benvingudes

Guìa: Benvinguts i benvingudes Welcome to Barcelona, a city historically known for embracing people of different cultures and participating actively in the construction of an accessible, multicultural society. This guide, divided into four chapters, will help you become acquainted with the city of Barcelona. In the first chapter we offer a presentation featuring basic information about the city and its main organisations. The second section explains the main languages used in the city, while the following chapter reviews the various forms of citizen participation, rules of coexistence, local traditions and festivities. Lastly, the fourth chapter offers a summary of the main administrative procedures related to immigration, including all available municipal services and information offices.

Procedures Guide

Manual

Throughout 2009 we have updated and added several sections to the Procedures Guide. A new section on Services for People with Disabilities has been included, and a similar one in the area of education.

The Procedures Guide contains a summarized section lifting the 25 most common procedures which a newcomer must complete upon arrival in the city. The Guide is structured in a simple format and addresses the what?, who?, where? and how? of each of the procedures.

The Guide is intended for professionals and volunteers of the Reception area, and social entities such as government agencies offering information to the general public.
