Can Fabra Cybernetic Fountain

The cybernetic fountain is a project by the architect Ramon Llopart and was inaugurated in 1995; it was installed in front of the Can Fabra industrial building in Sant Andreu. This is an ornamental fountain with a water recirculation and purifying system.
It is a musical, interactive fountain with parabolic and vertical jets and a spray system with water arrangements which make fixed and sequential figures. The entire system is computer controlled: a computer programme translates the music notes into water jets which vary in intensity and direction for the purpose of creating all kinds of synchronised scenes and choreographic shows made from music, water and colour.
