Fòrum Nord Fountain

This water jet is located in the lake surrounding the Fòrum Nord de la Tecnologia building, in Nou Barris Central Park. It’s an ornamental fountain with a water recirculation and purifying system.

The park is a project by the architects Carme Fiol and Andreu Arriola which was begun in 1999. It is arranged as a space with no main paths or signposted directions, where green elements and water are the main protagonists.

In 2007, the Nou Barris Central Park architectural project was presented the International Urban Landscape Award (IULA), an award given for the redesign of urban spaces based on sustainability and innovation.
