First, mix all the ingredients well, making a dough with your hands. Pour in the anise and mix again, thoroughly. When the dough is even, divide it into the number of Cocas you want to make (you can make various sizes). Then flatten these into thin pieces, about ½ cm thick.
Now all you need do is bake them. Put the lard on the oven baking tray and sprinkle some flour over it. Place the Cocas on the tray and cover them with sugar and cinnamon. Leave them to cook in the oven until they are golden. Then just see how good they are!
